We want receiving your books to be straightforward — and returning them, if needed, to be just as simple. This page explains how we deliver orders within the United Kingdom, what delivery costs apply, and how our returns and refunds process works. It supplements our Terms & Conditions and your statutory consumer rights.

1. Where we deliver

LunaroKosta currently ships to addresses in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. We do not deliver to PO Box-only addresses for certain courier services; if in doubt, contact us before ordering. At present we do not offer international shipping outside the UK through our website.

Please ensure your delivery address is complete and accurate, including postcode and any access instructions. We are not responsible for delays or failed delivery caused by incorrect details provided at checkout.

2. Delivery options and costs

We offer the following UK delivery options:

Free standard delivery applies when your order subtotal is £35 or more before any discount codes. Promotional free-delivery thresholds may vary during sales; the applicable threshold will be shown at checkout.

Working days exclude weekends and UK public holidays. Orders placed after 2:00 pm on a working day, or at any time on a weekend or bank holiday, are usually processed on the next working day.

3. Order processing and dispatch

Once your payment is confirmed, we aim to pick, pack and dispatch your order within one to two working days. During peak periods (such as Black Friday or the run-up to Christmas), processing may take slightly longer; we will display any extended dispatch notices on the website where possible.

You will receive an email confirmation when your order is placed and a dispatch email with tracking information when your parcel leaves our warehouse. If you have not received a dispatch email within three working days of ordering, please contact us at hello@lunarokosta.com.

4. Tracking your parcel

Standard and express orders are sent via Royal Mail or a comparable UK courier. Your dispatch email will include a tracking number and a link where available. Delivery attempts follow the carrier's standard procedures; if you miss a delivery, the carrier will usually leave a card with collection or redelivery instructions.

We are not liable for delays caused by the carrier once the parcel has left our premises, but we will help you trace a missing or delayed shipment and lodge enquiries with the delivery company on your behalf.

5. Undelivered or lost parcels

If your tracking shows as delivered but you have not received the parcel, please check with household members, neighbours and any safe-place locations before contacting us. If the parcel cannot be located within 48 hours, email us with your order number and we will investigate with the carrier.

If a parcel is confirmed lost in transit, we will offer a replacement or a full refund, including delivery charges, at your preference.

6. Your right to cancel (14 days)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, if you are a UK consumer you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of the day after you receive your goods, without giving a reason. To cancel, notify us clearly — for example by email to hello@lunarokosta.com — stating your name, order number and intention to cancel.

If you cancel within this period, you must return the goods to us without undue delay and within 14 days of telling us you wish to cancel. You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods unless we have agreed otherwise or the item was faulty or misdescribed.

7. Our 30-day returns policy

In addition to your legal rights, we offer a straightforward 30-day returns policy for physical books:

  • Books must be returned within 30 days of delivery.
  • Items must be unopened, unused and in resaleable condition with no writing, highlighting or damage.
  • Original packaging should be included where practical.
  • Proof of purchase (order number or receipt) is required.

Opened books may not be eligible for a refund unless they are faulty or not as described. This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

8. How to return an item

To start a return:

  1. Email hello@lunarokosta.com with your order number, the title(s) you wish to return and the reason (optional but helpful).
  2. We will reply within two working days with return instructions and, where applicable, a returns reference number.
  3. Pack the book securely to prevent damage in transit. We recommend using a padded envelope or small box.
  4. Send the parcel to the address we provide. We suggest using a tracked service and keeping proof of postage.

Please do not send returns to our registered office address without prior authorisation — returns sent without a reference may be delayed.

9. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will email you to confirm approval or rejection. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 14 days. Depending on your bank or card provider, it may take a further few days for the refund to appear on your statement.

We refund the product price and standard delivery cost for faulty or misdescribed items. For change-of-mind returns under our 30-day policy, we refund the product price only; original delivery charges are non-refundable unless the entire order is returned and you are exercising your 14-day legal right to cancel.

If you chose express delivery when standard delivery was available at lower cost, we may deduct the difference from your refund when you cancel under the 14-day regulations.

10. Faulty, damaged or wrong items

If your book arrives damaged, defective, or you receive the wrong title, contact us within 14 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the issue. We will arrange a prepaid return label where appropriate, or ask you to return the item at our expense using reasonable postage.

You are entitled to a repair, replacement or full refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. We will usually offer a replacement or refund at your choice. If a replacement is unavailable, we will refund you in full including delivery costs.

11. Digital downloads and free resources

Our free 30-Day Budget Checklist and similar digital resources are delivered by email. Due to the nature of digital content, refunds are not available once the download link has been sent, except where required by law. If you experience technical issues accessing your download, contact us and we will resend the file.

12. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different title, please return the original book for a refund (subject to our returns policy) and place a new order for the item you want. This ensures accurate stock allocation and faster processing.

13. Gifts

If you received a book as a gift, the purchaser may need to arrange the return unless you have the order number and their consent. Refunds for gift returns are made to the original payment method unless we agree otherwise in writing.
